Tulip Residency

I had a prepaid seven-day booking confirmed through MakeMyTrip, but when I arrived at Tulip Residency the hotel was shut. The main door was locked, and there wasn’t a staff member in sight. I stood on the road with all my luggage for 40 minutes because of their incompetence. Eventually I got in through a back door and found a sleepy, rude caretaker who was annoyed that I’d disturbed his afternoon nap. He denied me entry, wouldn’t acknowledge my booking, and treated me like I was trespassing instead of helping a guest who had paid in advance. Absolutely disgusting attitude. The hotel is unprofessional, unreliable, unsafe, and unfit for guests. Tulip Residency should be blacklisted from all platforms. MakeMyTrip was just as responsible. After Tulip Residency turned me away, I spent 1.5 hours calling several MMT executives while standing in the sun with my luggage. They passed the issue around without urgency or ownership. More than two hours into my day, they finally moved me to another hotel 2 km away, and I had to pay for the taxi myself. Their so-called compensation was a basic, tasteless veg thali, which felt more like an insult than a gesture. MakeMyTrip says it ensures safety and comfort, but poor coordination and terrible vendor management left me stranded, stressed, and humiliated. Both Tulip Residency and MakeMyTrip ruined my day and caused unnecessary mental and physical harassment. I’ll never trust this property again, and MMT needs to fix its customer support and hotel verification process. Travelers beware: if you want peace of mind, avoid this hotel and don’t blindly trust MMT’s listings.
