Hotel Fame City

Hotel Fame City, Paltan Bazar ⭐⭐⭐ I had a mixed stay. Its location in the middle of Paltan Bazar is hard to beat, especially if you’re using Guwahati Railway Station or want to explore the city. Parking was another real plus, with plenty of space despite how crowded the area is. The room itself needs work. The furniture and linens looked worn, the rooms feel dated, and cleanliness could be better. Some basic bathroom amenities weren’t working properly either. Staff were polite, but things moved slowly, from check-in to room service. It’s a decent option if location and parking are your main priorities. For a premium room or faster service, there’s room to improve. I hope management takes note and renovates the property soon.

Lunch and breakfast were delicious and very good quality. The room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the staff were respectful and welcoming throughout. They were extremely polite, helpful, and professional. Staff rating 10/10, room rating 10/10. I highly recommend Hotel Fame City, Guwahati for a comfortable, pleasant stay.

The bathroom was very dirty, and the rooms smelled all the time. The staff were unprofessional. We arrived, went to our room, and found staff cleaning it with no manners at all. Such a wahiyat hotel. Don’t book it through Make my trip.

The washrooms were even dirtier than the rooms and smelled like public toilets. The rooms themselves were extremely dirty and smelly. It was an unhygienic place to stay, the worst stay of my life.
