Matree Lodge By OYO Rooms

I booked this place for comfort while travelling in North East India, and paid online through goibibo. At check-in, the hotel staff refused to let me in because they were getting less money from goibibo and OYO. It was an issue between goibibo, OYO, and the owner, but the staff were rude to me. I was alone and worried about my safety, so I couldn't argue, even though I hadn't done anything wrong. I tried customer care, the text helpline, and every other contact method I could find, and even tweeted, but couldn't reach them. After about three hours, customer care called. In the meantime, OYO customer care helped and contacted the hotel, and then they finally let me check in. Please don't book this hotel.

I waited at the gate from around 6:30 in the morning for about two hours because nobody was there to open it. The service staff ignored my repeated calls, so eventually I had to book another hotel. This was a terrible experience, and the delay made me late for my flight. The hotel's work process doesn't seem professional. Don't book here if you want to avoid a bad ordeal.

The staff were extremely rude. The property manager had assured me of early check-in, but when I arrived they flatly refused. Terrible experience. I'll never recommend this place, unless you're my enemy.

They refused to let us in even though we showed valid government-issued work ID, plus PAN and Aadhaar, saying we didn't have local ID. That's ridiculous. If we lived in the area, why would we have come here instead of staying home? The staff were very rude. Don't go.
