The staff behaved very well, and the food felt homemade. It’s a very decent place to stay, in a good and convenient location.

It was easy to find, and the rooms and surrounding premises were very clean. They provided soap and shampoo, and there was hot water for bathing. Each room had a kettle for tea or hot water, along with a cupboard, hangers, and TV. Free Wi-Fi was available. Happy traveling!

The location is good, and the staff are helpful and good. But food choices are really limited, and some rooms are quite cramped with lots of mosquitoes. There are much better hotels at the same price or even less. I’m staying at this HOLIDAY HOME because I’m a Bob employee; otherwise, I’d never choose it.

For under 1500, this is a good deal in the heart of Gauhati, and a decent option for a long stay. My stay was from 23rd July to 8th July, and I couldn’t find any cons to mention. The staff are friendly and professional, room service is a call away, rooms are cleaned daily, and they provide fresh bedsheets, towels, and toiletries each day. They serve homely food, there’s no unnecessary disturbance, and they have CCTV cameras. A couple of things to know before booking: Wi-Fi might not reach your room, even though it’s available at reception; the AC takes a few minutes to cool the room; and the main gate closes by 11PM, after which they may not let you in.
