Travellers Nest by OYO Rooms

The bed sheets were old and dirty, the shower was defective, the AC was in terrible condition, and there was no TV. The owner was rude to guests. They charged me an extra 200 rupees for a small towel stain, even though I said I could wash it out, and refused to return my ID card until I paid. I had no choice but to pay. Before checkout they inspect the whole room in a way that makes you feel like a thief, looking for stains on the sheets and towels, and sometimes they may make false claims. Sheets and towels are provided for use, and a stain can happen accidentally and be washed off. They shouldn’t charge extra unless the items are torn or damaged. Worst hotel ever. Please avoid.

The rooms cost a lot for what you get, and the hotel doesn't provide the breakfast it says it offers. Staff behavior was really horrible. I also couldn't find any GST registration, and I wonder whether they have District Administration permission to operate. Worst hotel in Guwahati, especially in Rajgarh. Please avoid this so-called hotel.

The rooms were clean, and breakfast was simple but good. The location was nice, too, but I had a bad experience. The owner charged me double, saying there had been a misunderstanding. They shut the gates at 10 pm without telling me, so I got stuck outside. Laundry kept being postponed and never got done. The staff didn't speak English, only the owner did.

The room was very small for such an expensive price, and the food quality was poor. The service itself was friendly, and the room was clean. But the price shown on hotel booking sites wasn't the actual price. I booked through OYO two days before check-in with a non-refundable rate. When I arrived, management said I had to pay an extra 410/= because their prices had gone up. I called OYO customer service, waited on hold for about 30 minutes, then the executive cut the call. My attempts to call back got no response. I paid the extra 410/= before they let me stay. OYO's customer care was the worst, and after this experience I don't think I'll use them again.
