I came with my family and had a very good experience. The hotel staff behaved very well, and the owner was very down to earth.

The experience was awful. I checked in at 3 p.m. and found that the bathroom drain wasn’t working. When I asked the owner to check and fix it, he kept making excuses about the sweeper coming or not answering the phone. After waiting 1.5 hours, I asked for another room so we could get ready, but he refused. He also refused to return my money and started arguing. Finally, I called the police helpline, and then the owner was quick to apologize. Be aware of hotels like this in Haridwar, and seek help from the police if hotel management harasses you.
The auto-rickshaw drivers set the fare because they get commission for bringing guests here. They took the full payment at check-in, so there was nothing I could do when I found the AC switched off at reception. Very, very bad. After staying here, you'd probably say the same.
There’s no lift, and the TV, AC, and geyser seemed to be there for show; none of them worked. I asked several times to have the AC and TV turned on, but was ignored. The hotel seems to rely heavily on auto-rickshaw drivers’ commissions. A driver followed us from the station and brought us here instead of Har ki Pauri. The main ghat is another 2 km away. I’d head straight to a hotel near the ghat instead.
We paid 1200 rupees a night for a non-AC room, though you can get an AC room for under 1000 rupees a night. There was no lift or proper lighting, the geyser didn’t work, and we weren’t given the Wi-Fi password. The staff behaved terribly. A waste of money and time 🤮
