We left with lovely memories and so much gratitude after our anniversary stay at Hampi Feathers Resort. Prakash from the service team made the celebration feel special, carefully coordinating everything and arranging a beautifully decorated private candlelight dinner. Chef Susant served an exquisite 5-course meal, with each dish delicious and nicely presented, and such courteous, gracious service. The resort is tucked into lush greenery beside the serene Tungabhadra River, far from noise and pollution. It was a wonderfully calm place to unwind with family and friends. Clear skies and quiet nights made stargazing unforgettable. For a peaceful nature getaway or a special occasion, this is a gem. Highly recommended 💫
The rooms are huge, with spacious bathrooms and big sit-out areas. Each has a kettle and fridge, and an iron is available on request. The staff were humble and courteous, and the service felt top notch, like a Taj or Oberoi. Food was extremely delicious 😋😋😋😋 The thoughtful layout puts the rooms in a circle around the central pool, a lovely spot to watch the sunrise and birds. There's also a lotus pond beside the beautiful swimming pool. You can walk around the property or on the roof. It's a picturesque setting, with paddy fields and huge Hampi boulders around it. They have cycles, morning and evening bird walks, and a jeep safari for bird watching, which I think costs extra. This hidden gem isn't widely discovered yet. We stayed four nights and will definitely come back when we can.
The jeep and coracle rides were the best part for us. It's a pet-friendly place with a peaceful, nature-close feel, streams of water, greenery and pretty lily ponds. The rooms have a rustic look that suits the surroundings. Staff were cheerful, friendly and helpful, and there are lots of good places for photos, walks or just relaxing. A great quiet getaway with a little adventure.
The rooms have a rustic charm that fits the surroundings, and the staff are friendly, helpful and always smiling. We loved the peaceful feel of this pet-friendly place, with streams, greenery and cute lily ponds. The jeep and coracle boat rides were the real highlights. Plenty of spots for photos, long walks and relaxing too. A perfect escape for calm, nature and a bit of adventure together!
Nest restaurant was the highlight for us: the food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Ram was courteous and personally checked in with guests. The kids especially loved the food, the fish pond inside, and seeing birds and a crocodile in the lake out front. Preetham and Shanmukha at reception, along with the rest of the staff, were very warm. Jaseer from reservations was considerate and helped us when we needed it, so the trip and stay went smoothly. The rooms are cozy and face the pond. Sunrise and sunset are beautiful, especially from the rooftop walkway. Keep in mind that the hotel is an hour from the Hampi heritage site, so plan ahead, especially during holiday season.
