The front office boy charged more than the confirmed online booking price, which felt like cheating. The room smelled bad, and the sheets and pillow covers looked used and unhygienic. The management was poor, with no professionalism. I won't stay here again and don't recommend it. Management needs to take responsibility. Based on my experience, I'd recommend Hotel Raintr33 or La HomeTel in Hitech City instead. They don't charge extra even when the online price is lower, ₹1000, and they include breakfast. This hotel charged ₹1500 per day without breakfast.

The water pressure was poor, the shower head didn't work, the AC remote was broken, and the walls had stains. Even during the time I spent in the room, the stay was bad. I picked it because it was reasonably priced and near the wedding venue, and I knew I wouldn't be in the room much. As an outsider returning to Hyderabad after a long time, the whole experience was horrible. The reception guy had talked about maintenance, but the room didn't show it. When I arrived to check in for my online booking, which I'd already paid for in advance, the receptionist was rude and said it didn't count because it was the weekend. I kept explaining that I'd booked through their own website, but he insisted I had to pay extra because they maintained the hotel and weren't paid enough. Customer care sorted it out after I waited 15 to 20 minutes in the lobby, but that first interaction ruined my impression. The bedcover, pillow cover, and bedsheet all had yellow spots and cigarette burns. They replaced them after I asked, but the replacements had the same problems, just fewer of them. I asked again the next day, and they said they didn't have even one spare bedsheet or bedcover and couldn't do anything. My Telugu-speaking friend told them off and asked what kind of hotel has no bedsheets. Ten minutes later they brought a new one, even though they'd first said they had none, but it had the same problems and we couldn't do anything about it. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

We visit the hotel regularly and have had a good experience. The staff were good, the room is cleaned daily, and everything is available near the hotel. Thanks to the Orion staff and management.

Room service was prompt, and the staff were very polite and cooperative. The rooms and common areas were kept neat and clean. Had a fantastic time at Orion Hotel, one of the best hotels in hitec city.
