FabHotel Serenity

The room felt too small for the price, and I wouldn’t recommend this place for families, though it may be okay for bachelors. The bathroom door wouldn’t lock, the geyser and Wi-Fi didn’t work, and I had to keep calling reception for Wi-Fi access. Since mobile reception was poor, we had to rely on it. Pretty bad stay.

The location was hopeless, the rooms were bad, the staff unruly, and there were no amenities at all. There wasn’t even a restaurant. The place looked nowhere near what the website showed, and I wouldn’t book it through the site.

After paying extra, I found a room that smelled foul, like a sewer. It was so bad I left right away, returned at night only to collect my things, and checked out without staying a full night. Before arriving, I’d called FabHotel Serenity to confirm early check-in. They said it was possible only through their web app, at a higher price than MakeMyTrip, and I agreed. At the hotel they kept me waiting 20 minutes, then demanded another early check-in fee despite the confirmation. Even with a FabHotel representative on the phone, reception wouldn’t let me check in unless I paid more. This was a pathetic experience, with no professionalism or accountability. Stay away if you care about your money, hygiene, and basic respect as a customer.

The food was served in the parking area, where there was a mosquito state conference going on. It seemed unhygienic and made the whole atmosphere concerning. I also felt uneasy about safety throughout the stay. The room itself had dirty sheets, poor hygiene, and a bathroom that was so small it felt cramped. Getting to the hotel was difficult because the area was hard to access. Staff were unhelpful and unresponsive, adding to the frustration. This place fell short on basic comfort, cleanliness, access, safety, and service. I strongly advise looking elsewhere.
