When we arrived, the rooms were dirty. Even after cleaning, the washrooms smelled like sulabh shauchalaya. It looks clean from outside, but travel spots are far away. I suspect some of the other reviews are fake. One photo showed children, which made the property look possibly child-friendly. Since OYO is the central aggregator, booking through makemytrip sent us in circles. This is an OYO, so keep that in mind before booking. ADESH was reluctant to give an invoice for a payment I made directly to him, then stalled us unnecessarily for three hours. Credit cards aren't accepted here. It was a pretty bad experience, and I ask Google not to take down this review.

The staff were great, and the food tasted like home cooking. We had a great experience with our loved ones. Travelling solo? The rates here are affordable too.

The hotel felt unsafe to me, and the staff and management were not good. A very bad place to stay.

I haven’t stayed at Garg Niwas myself, but a close friend I sent there had nothing but praise for it. The rooms and interiors were clean and hygienic, and the decor was lovely. She also appreciated the convenient location, reasonable prices, quality rooms and service, and how helpful and welcoming the front desk team was.
