Hotel Kala Residency

The rooms smelled awful, were dirty, and weren’t maintained well. The food tasted cheap and unhygienic, and the service was terrible. For what they charge, Kala Residency is completely overpriced. The owner seems focused on squeezing money out of guests while offering a filthy dump. I’d never recommend it unless wasting money in a dirty lodge sounds good to you.

The broken door lock was a serious safety concern. I told the owner several times, including that someone had tried to open my door twice, but he wouldn’t act unless I could give him the exact time. I couldn’t, and he said he wasn’t going to sit there for two hours to watch for it. The AC barely worked. When I complained, he said it was old and refused to fix or replace it. He argued that since I was getting some air, it was fine, and even said the AC wasn’t his responsibility. He was rude, unprofessional, and unwilling to listen or help. The food was poor and so oily it was hard to eat regularly. Between that, the poor maintenance, and the owner’s careless attitude, the price at Kala Residency wasn’t justified. I wouldn’t recommend this PG. There are better places with better service and respect for tenants.

The staff seemed disinterested, and when I needed service, they didn’t respond. The rooms were filthy and the food was poor too. It made for a really disappointing stay at Kala Residency, and I wouldn’t recommend it. Look elsewhere if you want a comfortable place.

I booked two days, and the owner and staff were very cooperative. On the first day I had several room problems: no set top box, a broken shower, dirty wardrobes, and an AC that wasn’t working properly. I contacted the owner, Mr.Rahul Kala, and he was friendly and sorted everything within two hours. They replaced the shower, cleaned the whole room, arranged a set top box, and fixed the AC. Hats off to their service, the whole experience was so good.
