OYO 19970 Hotel Pink View

I wouldn’t recommend staying here, even if the rooms were offered for free. The condition was awful, and the service didn’t address the problems. I was left thinking the hotel was more interested in renting rooms for just 3-4 hours than looking after overnight guests. When I complained about the lack of cooling, someone came to check the A/C but gave me a lesson instead of acknowledging the fault. I complained repeatedly, but they wouldn’t change my room. At 10.10pm they said the owner would arrive within one hour, but nobody showed up. They also claimed no guest had complained about the same issue. The response was so casual, it made me think that guests renting by the hour simply don’t complain. The A/C was set to 16°C and still wasn’t cooling after 3 hours, despite the charge for the service. The toilet seat shifted from side to side because it was broken, making it hard to sit down. The bucket and mugs looked filthy, and the shower head was broken, so water came out like it was from a tap. The washbasin tap was loose too, and I had to move my hand to either side to get the water to flow into the middle of the basin. Jaipur is a heritage city rich in culture, yet the hotel didn’t maintain a register of guests checking in and out. That made me wonder even more about rooms being sold for short stays of 3-4 hours. They charge for services they don’t actually provide. A Dharmshala would be a better choice. I gave one star only because I couldn’t upload my comments about the quality of the stay without rating it. The hotel doesn’t deserve even that.
