The staff were polite and ready to help, and the rooms were comfortable for a short visit. I liked the traditional Rajasthani haveli feel, too. Hotel Kotwal Haveli is conveniently placed near the main sights, so getting around Jaisalmer was easy. A solid budget choice if you’re in town briefly and want some local character.

The food was tasty and hygienic, and getting around from here was easy. Our room was clean and spacious, and service was quick whenever we needed something. Everyone was very polite and helpful. Special thanks to Bilal Bhai, we had a great stay and I’d happily recommend the hotel.

You can see sonar kella from the roof, which was the only good part. Everything else was awful: the rooms and toilets were very dirty, and the staff behaved rudely. They had a little boy working there, and the staff were rude to him too. We booked non-veg food, but when it was served they denied that arrangement. Don’t book here.

Khan Bhai deserves a special mention. He’s worked here for 10 years, kept us entertained, and made the stay memorable with his warm hospitality. The rooftop view was breathtaking, and we enjoyed the food as well. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. The staff were arrogant, and the rooms smelled like trash and were awful. There was no parking at all. A truly dreadful visit.
