Hotel Yellow Stone

The only things that worked well were the AC and hot water. The room didn't look like the website photos, and there was a RAT in it. I asked several times before they agreed to move me. There's no landline in the room to contact reception, and the TV didn't work. The place is about 1.5 km from the city, and there was a Godwen for traffic.

I've stayed at this hotel at least ten times and have really liked the service and the way the staff speak to guests. The rooms are good, too. It's a very good hotel in Jaisalmer.

Thanks to the yellow team. I liked the lounge outside, especially the live music in the evenings, and the restaurant served good-quality food with good waitstaff. The hotel premises are very nice, with modern staff and all amenities. It's lovely to look out over the golden fort. I had a nice stay and would consider other Kempinskis after this experience.

The owner was good natured, and the staff were good, but the room was tiny, smelled bad, and didn't feel worth 6000 rupees to me. I'd say it was worth 500 rupees. The floor was dirty and marked all over, and there were hairs from previous visitors on the bed sheet. The pillow cover and Comforter were messy, and when we asked for replacements, they brought other old, messy covers. I hope the owner switches to fresh pillow covers and bed sheets and keeps them properly clean.
