Hotel Gulshan by OYO Rooms

There was a strange smell from the food, and the bathroom was filthy enough that I didn’t want to go in. The water glasses were dirty, the sheets hadn’t been cleaned properly, and the floor was dusty. Even the cobwebs in the rooms hadn’t been cleared. I wouldn’t stay here.

They took the money in advance for our function but didn’t provide the service we had been promised. There was no proper arrangement for guests, the hygiene was poor, and the staff behaved badly. This place should be shut as soon as possible.

We stayed two days, and the linen was dirty and wasn’t changed. There was no wardrobe, and the remote didn’t work. At first we got a room with a broken AC, and after we complained they moved us to another one. We were three people but got only one set of toiletries. The reception person was very rude, and even after several complaints they didn’t offer us a replacement room. I wish I could give a negative rating.

The room was Rs. 700, but because we arrived early at 6:30, they asked for another 300. They said it could be deducted or negotiated if we checked out that same day. The hotel is near the railway station, which is a plus. For the state of the room, though, it felt a bit overpriced, and there was no hot water tap in the bathroom.
