The peaceful setting and greenery made Golden Leaf Resort in Sakleshpur a refreshing break from the city. The rooms are spacious and clean, with fresh linens and comfortable beds, and the layout looks out onto the surrounding greenery. It felt safe and family-friendly for travelling with children, with basic amenities provided. Meals were hot, fresh, and generous, with Karnataka-style dishes alongside familiar choices for different ages. The staff also handled requests like milder food for kids and special preparations, which made dining feel personal. Breakfast and dinner were both satisfying. Everyone was polite and responsive, from check-in and check-out to local information and other requests. Room service came quickly, questions got prompt replies, and the team was courteous. Food, rooms, and service all get 5/5 from me. A comfortable, nature-filled place for a relaxed stay with family or friends.

The quiet surroundings and pretty setting made for a refreshing visit. There’s a large garden and an event lawn, so it’s a popular spot for celebrations and outdoor functions. The rooms are kept in good condition and have modern amenities, which made the stay comfortable.

The staff looked after us really well and were good to deal with. We enjoyed the food and the ambience, and had a great experience overall. Loved everything.

The staff were courteous and helpful, and our rooms were clean. There were also some serious issues: we found hair in the dining hall food multiple times, which is simply unacceptable. The menu could change more from day to day, since it gets boring on a longer stay. A few practical fixes would help in the bathroom: add a light above the mirror for shaving, separate the wet and dry areas, and support the sink slab underneath so it’s less at risk of collapsing. The table between the sofa sets is also too big and blocks movement.

We stayed November 13-14, 2025, and the Malnad-style food was really tasty, with a distinctive flavor. Tejas was polite and accommodating, and Deepika supported us throughout the stay. The property sits in the middle of nature, and there are lots of things to do there. We’d like to come back with our extended family. Highly recommended for families with kids.
