Treebo Golden Heights

I had stayed here before and enjoyed it, so I booked another visit directly by phone. This time turned out really badly. They promised breakfast on the phone, but didn't serve any, saying it would be an extra charge. There were only two or three breakfast choices anyway. They also said direct bookings don't include a hot water kettle, which is hard to believe. The biggest concern was the lift. When the power goes out, it takes them 10-15 minutes to turn on the generator. On top of that, carpentry work continued until 12:30 am, and the staff did nothing to help.

I've stayed here many times. The food is good, and the staff are really nice. They always try to provide whatever services they can.

The complimentary breakfast was awful. The puri was so hard I had to break it with my teeth. Room service fell short, and the staff came across as borderline arrogant. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

The only snag came when I arrived early, around 6 AM. I couldn't work out how to get in because the building's main gate was closed, but I called the staff and they opened it promptly. Otherwise, all was good on my short stay. The room was good for one person and could easily fit two. It had a queen-size bed, TV, working AC, and a properly cleaned room and toilet. Hot water and complimentary breakfast were included. The hotel is on the fourth floor, near Mango bus stand, about 2 km away and easy to navigate to.
