Garh Govind Hotel & Resort

We came to Hotel Garh Govind as a tour group of 150, and everything went remarkably smoothly. The staff were courteous, cooperative, and organized, keeping service consistent while looking after such a big group. Rooms were spacious, clean, and well cared for, with strong hygiene standards throughout. The food was fresh and extremely tasty, with balanced flavors. A great fit for large groups, educational tours, or families. Highly recommended for the comfort, cleanliness, and food.

Naveen took especially good care of us, and I really enjoyed talking with him. He's a wonderful, engaging person. We had a fantastic time at Garh Govind, with excellent rooms and a very helpful staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The room change I asked for was bluntly refused, and requests I raised in person went ignored. The hotel phone was dead and reception didn't answer, so there was no way to get staff by phone. The staff seemed unprofessional, unresponsive, and poorly trained, with no concern for comfort or accountability. During my 3-night stay at Gadh Govind Jodhpur, housekeeping never came, including to clean the washroom. The tiny room was poorly maintained and unhygienic, with a serious mosquito problem that made sleeping impossible. The geyser malfunctioned and the exhaust fan didn't work. This is marketed as a 4-star heritage hotel, but it didn't meet basic hotel standards. To me, it's a total scam. Misleading, unhygienic, and irresponsibly managed. Do not book. Strongly not recommended.

Could I give this negative stars? Google really needs that option. A village roadside dhaba could have given much better service than this so-called resort. They seem to have brought back ancient Rajasthan's water scarcity. Thanks for paying attention to this.
