Hotel Blue Chip is well located and decent overall, but our family stay on Dec 31 with two kids was disrupted by a water outage that lasted for hours in the morning. Reception responded slowly, and only offered room alternatives after I followed up. I saw many casual couples during our stay, but I wouldn't consider it good enough for families. Reception staff also need to improve their customer service. A basic greeting and a smile would make a big difference.

The room wasn't properly cleaned or sanitized when I arrived, which is a basic health and safety concern. The property also seemed poorly maintained, and the problems made the room practically uninhabitable. When I raised these issues, the staff were dismissive and unhelpful. They made no effort to fix anything or offer another solution.

My stay became uncomfortable and disappointing because the staff were rude, unprofessional, and not helpful. I expected better treatment from a place that provides accommodation. I hope this complaint is addressed promptly and service standards improve. Thank you.

I stayed here on 16-17 January 2026. The rooms and location were just OK, but the service was very poor. The service boy made for a really pathetic experience, and the receptionist seemed to know nothing and had no interest in working or taking bookings.
