Wayanad Cliff Apartment Hotel

The atmosphere was calm and refreshing, and the peaceful location was a lovely break from city noise. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and ready to help, and there were plenty of delicious food options. We had an amazing stay and would love to come back. Recommended for families, couples, or anyone after a relaxing getaway.

The staff were polite and cooperative, and quickly arranged a refrigerator and iron box when we asked. The location is convenient too, very close to Kalpata city for shopping or dining, with no long drives needed to reach restaurants or supermarkets. There's enough parking, although the access road is narrow and steep. Experienced drivers should be fine, but it's worth knowing. We stayed four days after booking online without checking the room first, and there were some disappointments. The rooms weren't well maintained: there was fungus on the walls, especially in the bathroom, and spider webs in several places. The bathroom exhaust didn't work, so unpleasant smells sometimes spread into the bedroom. The pool water had too much chlorine or other chemicals during our stay, and our eyes burned and felt irritated throughout the day. It's worth checking the levels before using it. It was an okay stay mainly because of the location and helpful staff, but management needs to improve room maintenance and cleanliness.

We booked a 2BHK for 27th December well in advance and paid a deposit. Eldho confirmed the booking and took the payment. After travelling for hours, we called on check-in day to say we were nearly there, only to be told there were no rooms available. It caused a lot of stress and wasted our time. Eldho sent photos and details for another place about 25 km away. Since it was late and we had no other option, we went there, but the rooms were extremely dirty and smelled strongly of cigarettes. We left right away, even though it was late at night, and were left stranded after our money had been taken. He promised to refund us, so we waited almost a month, but he never returned the money or responded again. Very disappointing. I would never recommend booking this property unless you want to lose money.

The room at Courtyard by Wayanad Cliff was clean and comfortable, and the friendly, helpful staff made our stay memorable. Many thanks to the whole team for their hard work and dedication. We will definitely be back.
