There's no restaurant, and the hotel is a long way from the main Dakshineshwar temple, with plenty of other places to choose from. The surroundings are noisy, with loudspeakers nearby, especially during weddings, so I'd avoid staying then. There are also many service problems. My room was average, and the bathroom smelled and was very dirty. It wasn't worth the money. Be wary of the so-called managers at reception, who extract extra money while billing.

The hotel's near the temple, so the surroundings are very noisy. There are multiple guest houses nearby and on the adjacent roads that are more peaceful and reasonably priced, so I'd advise families to look at those instead. The standard room seemed okay at first, but it was small and should have been more spacious. The bathroom smelled, and the pillow linen wasn't clean. With the high price and no breakfast, it wasn't worth the money. During busy periods management charges a lot. Why pay more for dirty bathrooms and a front desk manager who used filthy language? There are many genuine complaints on Goibibo.

The people are very nice, and the rooms are clean and well maintained. I do wish the rooms were a bit more spacious, though.
