FabHotel Maya Crystal

(Nov’25) We were in Kanpur for a wedding, and the stay caused a lot of hassle for us and our guests. The stairway had cement and dust from repair work going on inside the hotel, which made it slippery and unsafe. The basic rooms were in poor condition and weren’t clean. The sheets and bed covers didn’t look properly washed, and the so-called “superior” rooms were really just basic rooms. Some bathrooms had blocked drains, so water spilled into the room. In another room, the taps were partly blocked and the water came out extremely slowly. This was a very basic hotel and didn’t meet our expectations.

Quick service and clean rooms. They have Wi-Fi, a lift and TV, and provide hotel amenity kits too. 5/5.

It works well for small gatherings and events, but parking was a problem. I had to leave my car half a km away, and the guard wasn’t helpful at all.

The room didn’t seem clean: there was hair on the bedsheet, the blanket was dirty and the bed runner was really untidy. The AC had no power backup. I wouldn’t suggest this place for families, since unmarried couples mostly use it by the hour. Don’t go there.
