Hotel Melody Park Kanyakumari

Cockroaches in the rooms made our family stay very uncomfortable, and cleanliness and hospitality were only average. They give one bottle of water per room and are reluctant to provide more. There was no buffet breakfast, and the extra bed was just a mattress on the floor. This place does not meet basic family-stay standards, and it felt more like a beer bar than a family-friendly hotel. It isn't the 3-star property it is advertised as, and I wouldn't recommend it to families.

We paid for an Ultra Deluxe room but were given a Deluxe room when we arrived. Management said the sea-view room they gave us was equal in value to the Ultra Deluxe, instead of lowering the rate or offering proper compensation. We also found dust and a cockroach in the room, and staff handled our complaint poorly. Their attitude was unprofessional, and the experience wasn't worth what we paid. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The towels and bed linens hadn't been washed, and the sanitary fixtures were poorly maintained. The toilet flush didn't work, but the manager didn't treat it as a serious issue. When I raised it, they told me to complain to booking.com, even though I had booked online. The management needs to improve its service and speak to customers with more politeness. They also gave a tiny 3 rupee soap as a complimentary item, which was useless. I'd suggest staying somewhere else.

We stayed for two days. The rooms looked fine inside, but the hotel wasn't worth the money. The TV didn't work, and the staff were rude and uncooperative. Once we had paid, they became negligent about the service. The place may look good from outside, but I wouldn't say it's worth the cost.
