We got in around 10 PM after booking online and had a delicious buffet dinner in a dining hall that was exceptionally clean. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. In the morning, the balcony opened onto a beautiful river and mountains, with the swimming pool and landscaped garden also in view. Breakfast was delicious too. At checkout we met the owner, Saba Ji, who was warm and welcoming. Her suggestions for hotels in Leh were really helpful. Royal Kargil Hotel made our Kargil trip memorable, and I'd happily rate it 10/10 and recommend staying here. Thanks to the whole team.

You can see and hear the river from inside the rooms, which makes the location nice. There aren't many food choices, though. A good place to stop for one night while travelling to Leh.

The room had a good view, but that was the only good part. When it rained, water came all the way in to the bed. I mentioned it as feedback at checkout and they called me a liar. The staff generally treated us as if they were doing us a favour. A horrible experience.

The river flowing below makes for a scenic view from the room, and there's also a swimming pool. The location and environment are excellent, the food is good, and the staff are highly courteous.

The whole property had a peaceful, relaxing feel, and the rooms were spotless, comfortable, and nicely designed. The staff welcomed me and made me feel valued from the start. Service was prompt and polite, always with a smile. The food was delicious and hygiene was top-notch. Everything was taken care of, and this was one of the best hospitality experiences I've had in a long time. Definitely a five-star stay. Highly recommended for comfort, quality, and service.
