Hotel Dream Valley Kasol

There's plenty of parking, and the food was good. We liked the cafe for hanging out, too. The rooms were decent, and both the location, views, and staff were great. Really worth it, I'd recommend it and come back.

I booked because they allow pets, and the location is good with plenty of parking. The rooms are roomy, the toilet was clean, and there was hot water. But room service was poor and the staff weren't hospitable at all. The pool table costs extra, though if you know how to play, ask whether they'll waive the charge.

This felt more like a poorly maintained house than a hotel. The bed was awful, switches were broken, there was no cupboard, TV, or telephone, and the bathroom soaps hadn't been refilled. It might work as a dormitory, but it shouldn't be called a hotel.

We had a rough night. The room wasn't cleaned properly, there were cigarette butts in the toilet, and the bedsheet had holes. The blanket smelled, too. They wanted 800/- for a room heater, when places elsewhere usually charge 400rs per heater. We had to climb three floors, and despite booking the river-view side, could only catch a glimpse through one end of the glass window. Calling this a 3 star hotel is audacious. It looks awful.
