Lemon Tree Hotel, Katra

The only thing that could have been better was the common washroom near reception, which could use more consistent cleaning. Otherwise, we had a lovely stay at this beautiful property in a great location. The staff were warm, we enjoyed the food, and Ankush was a big help with transport. The walnuts were wonderful too, and the place he recommended was well worth visiting. I'd recommend this hotel chain for the satisfying experience it consistently gives us.

The building itself feels a little mid-range and could use some improvement, but the staff made me very comfortable. Service was the best I've had at any of the Lemon Tree properties I've stayed at. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and every interaction in between felt just right. I attached two photos: the peaceful night view of the Mata Vaishno Devi route from my room window, and the breakfast spread that started the morning off well.

After a long, tiring Vaishno Devi yatra, the calm atmosphere here was just what I wanted. My stay at Lemon Tree Hotel, Katra was comfortable and pleasant. The room was roomy, clean, and well kept, with the basic amenities in place. Housekeeping responded promptly and kept things hygienic.

Our family got food poisoning from food we'd eaten outside, and the young kids started vomiting. The staff were so helpful, even bringing medicine from the medical store. Big thanks to them and the housekeeping team. Everyone was polite and generous, and the customer service was excellent. When I come back to Katra, Lemon Tree will be my go-to place.
