Central Lodge

We were there for two nights, and the clean, well-kept property made for a pleasant stay. Mr. Wasim even washed our bikes while we were on our road trip, which was really kind of him. The staff looked after us and suggested nearby places to visit, and the temple is close by. I only wish there were a kettle in every room so guests could make a hot drink in the morning.

Mr. Wasim helped me recover money I’d accidentally paid to someone in Belgaum while buying a water bottle. He used his local contacts to send someone to the shop, and I really appreciated the effort. We’d booked quite late through Google, but found a spacious, clean room and a well-maintained bathroom. The staff were polite and helpful too. Thanks for the hospitality, I’d happily recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay.

We were in Kolhapur with family on 10 th Nov., and the owner had the room ready for our 5 am arrival after I let him know in advance. It was spacious, hygienic, and very clean, with no stains or bad smells. The bedsheet, pillows, blanket, mattress, and washroom were all in very neat condition, and hot and cold water were available 24 hours a day. The owner also provided an electric kettle. He lives on the top floor and was always ready to help, treating us like family. The staff were polite and cooperative as well. The hotel is in Bindu Chowk, about 5 to 7 minutes on foot from Mahalaxmi temple, with an auto rickshaw stop beside it. Rates are reasonable, and breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available about five minutes away on foot. We needed transport the next day to Khidrapur ( Kopeshwar mahadev temple) and Narsobachi wadi, and the owner arranged a vehicle for us. It was a nice journey. I felt very comfortable, safe, and happy with the stay, and will definitely visit again. Thanks to the owner for the care and hospitality. Room: 5/5! Service: 5/5! Location: 5/5. The location is great, under a 10-minute walk from Mahalaxmi temple, and plenty of good restaurants are nearby on foot. The staff were friendly. Our room was large and clean, and the bathroom/WC was clean with running hot water.
