Someone took petrol from my bike while it was parked in the hotel's designated parking area, which was locked. When I told the manager, he offered no real help and just said this happens often and he doesn't know who's responsible. That was shocking and unprofessional, and left me feeling the management is careless or may know what's going on. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you care about your vehicle's safety.
The rooms were spacious and elegant, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and comfortable with top-notch service. A great experience.
For what I paid, I expected better upkeep. The toilets and windows looked neglected, and the couch was unacceptably dirty. The bed itself was well kept, but the rooms weren't clean enough overall, and the stay didn't feel worth the price.
There are covered parking spaces in the basement, and the rooms are decent. The location is convenient for both the bus stand and railway station, with well-known eateries only a short drive away. Hot water was brought in the evening when we asked. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
Think twice before booking Hotel Majestic OYO, especially if you're travelling with family. We booked ahead on the OYO website, but the owner refused us a room when we arrived and demanded extra money. When I said no, he wouldn't give us the room, leaving us to look around nearby in the rain with our luggage trying to find somewhere to stay.
