Hotel Rukmini, kolhapur

The rooms were hygienic, the staff were good, and there was plenty of parking. It felt like a safe place for foreigners to stay. Do visit.

A good affordable stay, with neat, clean rooms and helpful staff. A place worth visiting with family.

The Super Deluxe Room was clean, and both the bed and bathroom were in good condition. The hotel allows pets, though we were charged Rs. 500 for our Shih Tzu. The stay was just okay for us since we mainly needed somewhere to leave our bags and rest. If you want comfort, better service, and more amenities, I wouldn't recommend it. It was hard to find because the signboard wasn't visible. Nobody was available to help with our luggage when we arrived. Even though we'd booked ahead, the receptionist didn't give my family the keys promptly while I was still finishing the paperwork. The rooms aren't soundproof, so we could hear everything in the corridor. There were no toiletries, and with no menu in the room, we had to order food online. Breakfast was included with our booking. On our last day I got up early to pack and leave, and at 8:30 AM I asked about breakfast, which was supposed to be served from 8-9 AM. The receptionist said the chef hadn't arrived and would cook only after coming on duty. I was also told we should have let them know the night before if we wanted breakfast, since they prepare it only when asked in advance.

Clean, good rooms and cooperative staff. There's CCTV and car parking available.
