We arrived late at night to find the entrance dark, the gate locked, and nobody there to let us in. The room they assigned had a broken AC, and when the key card failed, we had to wait outside until staff helped us. Then our food was thrown out during room cleaning even though we hadn't asked for that. At reception, the person was rude and argued that there hadn't been any food in the room. Several plates don't just disappear. When I asked about the CCTV footage, he said the food had been removed because it might smell. Why claim at first that there was no food? He never apologized for the wrong information and just kept arguing. Stay here only if service doesn't matter to you.

The staff were polite and courteous, which helped make the stay pleasant. The room itself was uncomfortable because the AC wasn't working properly, and the washroom tap was broken. I appreciated the service, but the hotel needs to keep up with maintenance better.

The restaurant was poor too, with oily food and staff who seemed badly trained. The driver's accommodation was unliveable, and service quality was basically nonexistent, which says a lot about the management and operations team. The property is old and badly needs repairs and an overhaul. I stayed because better hotels weren't available, but I'd stay somewhere else next time. Avoid this place.

We held a function for 60 people in the party hall, and the hotel staff made nice arrangements. The food was delicious and prepared to match our requirements and preferences. Thank you to Hotel Regenta and the team, especially banquet manager Mr. Rajesh.
