FabHotel Golden Suites

Fab hotel does not own the property, in my experience it just puts its name on lodging rooms and books them at a higher rate. Fabexpress Golden suit has no lift, the toilet has no fan, and there is no polpat for bathing. A wall shelf that used to be there has been replaced with cupboards. In the evening the place fills with cigarette smoke, so it doesn't feel suitable for a family. It reminded me of the “decent hotel” in the “Jab we met” movie. Cleaning happens at 11 am each day, and after that they don't care what gets thrown in the building. They won't check you in until the full amount is paid in advance. They also ask for ID from every person in a single room, which I believe is illegal. There's no basic kitchen facility either. Overall, I wouldn't call it good for families.

The room itself was okay, but the location and service let it down. There's no in-house kitchen or lift, the entrance passage is narrow, and you don't have direct access to the hotel. I had already paid for breakfast. In the morning they showed a menu with items like idli and dosa, but the receptionist said I could choose only one. I picked dosa, which they got for my wife and me from a footpath vendor, with no cutlery or napkins. I was really frustrated and couldn't do anything about it. I had considered extending my stay, but the location and kitchen arrangements made me change my mind.

Breakfast is provided, and the staff are generous in how they treat guests. The rooms are quite spacious.

The water bottles they gave us were already used and unsealed. The rooms didn't match the profile photos, and the price felt too high for what was provided, with none of the facilities shown for that rate. It was a very disappointing stay. Visit the place before booking, or they may cheat you.
