OYO 12210 Comfort N Cozy

My experience was awful. I booked a room here for 29/07/2022, but the location wasn't suitable and the staff treated me very badly. They demanded extra money and threatened to cancel my booking if I didn't pay. I arrived at 9 pm, with an interview the next day, so I reluctantly paid the extra charge. I ask everyone not to book here.

We booked through Make My Trip on 9th Jan for a stay starting 18th January. The manager was rude when we arrived and said they didn't take prepaid reservations. He told us to cancel our cheaper booking and pay a higher rate directly to the hotel. My two-year-old was very cranky, so unfortunately we had to do that. We stayed until 21st January. The room was never cleaned, and the bed wasn't changed despite several requests. They blamed the laundry not arriving for all four days. The manager didn't seem interested or concerned. It was a horrible experience, and I wouldn't recommend this place.

We arrived around 9.30 pm with a booking ID for two rooms. They said only one room was available in the building, and we'd have to take the other from a neighbouring building, which was another hotel owned by someone else. That arrangement hadn't been shown or mentioned when we booked through GOIBIBO/OYO. From the way they spoke to each other, it seemed they'd given one of our rooms to someone else because they thought we wouldn't arrive that night. They then asked that guest to move to another building, but the guest refused. We needed both rooms in the same building. I was staying in one, with my father and father-in-law in the other, and as a woman travelling alone in a hotel room, I was worried something could happen. We said we'd accept smaller rooms if necessary. After all that, the owner of the second building said he could arrange a room there if we paid Rs 1300 extra, even though that room was smaller than the one in the first building. So there were two rooms available in the second building, but they wouldn't offer one without charging more. Because it was late and we were hungry and exhausted, we felt forced to take it and pay the extra Rs 1300.00.

I loved the stay from the evening I arrived to checkout. It was comfortable and cosy, and the room was clean, nicely painted, and had a chair, table, cupboard, and dressing mirror. The flower vase especially caught my eye. The bathroom was outside the room instead of attached, which disappointed me a little, but the place was still worth it. What I hated was reception calling morning and evening to ask if I wanted breakfast or dinner. If I want food, I'll order it myself. Why keep bothering me?
