OYO 41435 Golden Residency

The staff were hostile and rude. They wouldn’t give us a towel, then started calling again and again hours before our scheduled checkout, pushing us to leave early. Easily the worst hotel experience of my life. Avoid this graveyard of a place.

OYO's customer care eventually moved me to another hotel, and I found their service good, but only after a long argument with this property's owner. I had booked a room for 7th May, and the owner demanded an extra 630 rupees. OYO arranged that amount with him, so I didn't pay it, as customer care had advised. Then the owner asked for another 290 rupees without explaining why, and wouldn't provide an invoice. He acted as if I had to pay whatever he demanded and said the OYO team always miscommunicated with customers. His behavior was very bad. Someone should teach him how to treat customers instead of harassing them.

The rooms were decent enough, and the bathrooms were very clean. From the street, though, the place looks ugly and dirty. There are two entrances, and if you leave early you have to use the second gate. It’s surrounded by garbage, and stepping through all of it really puts you in a bad mood.

The location is convenient and easy to find, but the room was untidy and poorly kept for the high price. It didn’t meet OYO standards. The steward acted full of attitude, as if he owned the place. I wouldn’t recommend it.
