OYO 8433 Hotel

I had to pay extra after the booking amount, and the managing director behaved very badly. They gave a kitchen. The AC wasn't working, the bed cover, pillow and blanket were dirty, and the whole room smelled awful. The washroom wasn't clean either. I've never had such a horrible experience in my life.

Don't trust the online pictures, this was a very below-average stay with unpleasant room conditions. They didn't even provide basics like complimentary water, cups, or a kettle. There was no water for a shower, and after I complained they came to repair the pipe. Best avoided.

I booked a room through the Oyo app, but they asked me for extra money.

The owner charged me ₹2000, which was ₹300 more than the Oyo app price, and I had no other option at the time so I agreed. I had booked for 12.00pm and arrived around 12.05pm, but the receptionist first said I'd have to wait 30 40 min to check in. Then came an issue with ID proof. I had a hard copy with me, but showed a digital copy, and the owner insisted that Oyo rules required him to take a photo of my ID proof over the register entry. Is that believable? The people there were very unprofessional and misleading, and the harassment was too much. From what I saw, he had no room that day and charged far too much to each person looking for a stay. When the app showed 1300, he charged 700 more. I ended up booking another hotel that took more than an hour to reach. I strongly believe Oyo might take action against that stay. Horrible place and horrible people. I'd tell others to avoid it.
