The hotel is on the fifth floor, reached through a small entrance or path beside a small bookshop. You may not spot the entrance when you arrive. There's a lift, and the receptionist I dealt with was decent and well mannered. The other floors in the building were very dirty and uncleaned, with paan spit everywhere. The fifth-floor hotel itself was well maintained and clean. The rooms are big enough for two and have complimentary breakfast, Wi-Fi, a geyser, AC, and dinner service to the room. Public transport to Howrah station and other destinations is easy to get right there, and Ola and Uber are available too. Overall, I had a good stay.

The staff are very good, but the hotel's location is unsuitable. It's on the fifth floor, and both lifts are out of order 90% of the time. If you have luggage, bad luck. Like me, you'll have to make your way upstairs carrying it.

We arrived with family at 12 30 am, hungry, and there was no signature board visible from the outside road. It was very disgusting trying to find the place at midnight. Mr Arghya, the manager, helped us like we were family and was a great person. Still, the hotel is the worst of its kind.

The room service boy, Ashar, was the one good part. He's a great asset to the hotel, with very good behavior and hospitality skills. I hope OYO rewards him for his performance. This is one of OYO's most neglected properties, with cleanliness and bathroom fittings that aren't up to the mark. Hospitality was poor, and the receptionist was rude.

I had prepaid in advance through Goibibo for two days, but the hotel refused to check me in. I waited an hour on the phone with Goibibo, and they couldn't arrange the check-in, only said sorry. I'm very dissatisfied with the service these hotels provide. Hotels like this should be blacklisted because they bring down the name of the whole hotel industry. I strongly recommend avoiding this particular hotel after the harassment they put us through.
