The rooms were the only good part: they were a decent size and got nice sunlight. Getting around the hotel was a real problem, especially for an older person. There was no lift access to the other floors, so guests had to take the lift to the fifth floor and then use the stairs for rooms elsewhere. For a few hours, even the lift was completely out of order. They had another lift, but its doors were blocked with heavy objects, which felt like it was just causing trouble. The receptionist was harsh and stuck to his position, refusing accommodation to my elderly family member despite knowing she had an eye problem. He insisted on everyone's ID proof and kept her waiting even after we had shown hers. A horrendous experience.

The standout here is the lovely terrace view. It could work as a budget venue for a program or event, and the rooms are okay. If you need naturally airy rooms with lots of daylight, this probably isn't the space for you. It does offer room service and basics like AC, a geyser and running water.

It was quiet enough to unwind after a long day, and the staff made both check-in and check-out quick and easy. I spent one night here and had a great time. My room was clean, comfortable, well cared for, and had what I needed for a short stay. I'd consider booking here again.

There’s no in-house restaurant, so meals are brought to the room, and the service needs a lot of improvement. This is a renovation of a very old hotel, but it doesn't match the standard of newer, contemporary non-star hotels. The rooms feel shabby, the amenities are basic, and there's no wow factor.
