Tiara By Mps

Parking is handled really well, even when lots of functions and weddings are happening, and there’s plenty of space. The service was very good, and the room was functional, though a little small. I didn’t try the restaurant. Zelebrae pastry shop is within walking distance, and autos are easy to find outside. I’d recommend staying here.

The breakfast spread was amazing, with lots of options, and staff were welcoming and attentive throughout. I stayed at the Tiara Hotel in Calicut on February 7th and 8th in Room 603. The facilities and room were modern, clean, and comfortable. Smiling faces everywhere really stood out. Highly recommended for a visit to Calicut, and I look forward to returning.

The salad bar was especially good, and the rest of the food was really nice too. We came for a dinner buffet with four adults and four children for our son’s birthday, arriving close to closing time. Ms. Nandhana welcomed us so warmly and did her best to make us comfortable. She arranged a lovely cake and a small decorated seating area for him. Thank you, Ms. Nandana and team, for making his birthday special. The desserts could have had more choices for kids. The staff and food were great, but the restaurant felt cramped, there were no live counters apart from breads, and the tables need more space between them for privacy. Looking forward to another nice experience.

The plumbing problem in our first room was serious: water was pooling and leaking into the main toilet area, so we had to move rooms. The hostess suggested I could pay more for an upgrade. Service was ordinary, and I’ve stayed in good hotels regularly for work, so I can’t compare this with a 4- or 5-star property. The location was good, but the room was small and not much to speak of, especially for a 5-star property. Breakfast was disappointing, with stale croissants and vegetables and sausages that were bland and tasteless. I can’t believe it’s rated 5 stars. At best, I’d call it 2 or 3.
