Stay Simple Brindavan Resort by OYO Rooms

We had a lovely time at the pool, which was very well maintained, and the food was good too. The staff were polite and attentive to guests’ well-being, and room service was prompt and well done. There was greenery all around and a peaceful feel to the place. Our room was spacious, well kept, and free of insects, with clean bed covers and quilts. The bathroom was neat as well. A great resort for a family trip.

The resort was packed over the long weekend, but I called Mr. Ramesh the day before and he quickly confirmed a room at a very reasonable rate. I stayed one night after visiting Brindavan. The rooms were comfortable and kept neat, and the staff were courteous. The food was quite good too. Since it’s a restaurant as well, they should plan to have both vegetarian and non-vegetarian cooks on site, and offer some beverages.

The food situation was a big problem. The cook was always absent, there were no food items, and the reception staff told me to eat at another restaurant. Why run a hotel if you can’t provide food? I only needed a place to sleep, so I put up with most of it. Still, the hotel adding “Brindavan” to its name because it’s next to Brindavan Garden is misleading. There was no power backup, and I had to ask for basics like towels and water bottles. The toilet faucets and doors were broken, and the ACs were noisy. I don’t recommend it at all.

There’s plenty of parking, and the location is a real draw, just a five minute walk from brindavan gardens with a scenic view along the stream. It has basic facilities and a pool, but the rooms need better upkeep. The AC was very noisy, and nobody dealt with it after I asked. Service lacked warmth and courtesy, and the place felt businesslike without much professional polish. The restaurant opens late in the morning, so there’s no complimentary breakfast at 7 or 7:30. It’s on the expensive side for what you get, and the stay didn’t have that feel good factor. With professionals managing such a prime location, it could offer much better value.
