The place was very clean and tidy, and the staff were helpful.

Be careful with the charges. We were quoted one rate when booking, then asked for more at checkout and harassed and threatened until they got the extra money. They made us pay everything at check-in but gave no receipt, then demanded more when we left. The rooms weren't clean or maintained, the environment felt unhealthy, and management gave no proper response to our concerns. It felt like they were just taking our money. The worst lodge I've stayed in. Don't risk your money and peace of mind here.

Mosquitoes kept biting me all night, and reception was unresponsive and irresponsible when I raised it. The hotel also seemed poorly maintained. They quoted 1100 for one day but charged 2500 for an AC room without telling me about the difference. The way reception handled us was awful. I can't recommend this place. Check the charges carefully before choosing to stay.

We reached Kumbakonam at 0230AM, and this was the only hotel that answered and opened its doors. That made it a lifesaver for my family, especially at such an odd hour. The rooms were good, though not awesome. We stayed overnight and I was happy with the experience. I'd recommend it to anyone arriving in Kumbakonam late.
