GPS wasn’t very helpful when we were trying to reach the property, so we had to call the hotel staff for directions. Since this is a known issue, they could do a better job of sending directions ahead of time. I’d recommend coordinating with them before setting out. A friend suggested we stay here during our trip to Udaipur. We spent a night on the way back. The wilderness setting gave us forest vibes with plenty of comfort, and the welcome rose water drink set a warm tone that lasted throughout. The cottages were unique and unlike anything I’d experienced before. After arriving, we ordered soup, manchurian, cheese fingers, and hot coffee, and the food was awesome. Breakfast buffet was delicious too. In the evening, the bonfire and decorative lights on the trees made the stay memorable. The staff and their service deserve praise.

The stone cottages are roomy and airy, with very clean, large bathrooms, and can easily fit four adults. The staff are local, polite, and helpful. Manager Kamlesh was especially helpful. Bella Basera is a quiet, rustic resort that’s great for unwinding from busy city life.

The peaceful surroundings and beautiful night ambience made our stay at Bella Basera, Kumbhalgarh lovely. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the delicious food added to the experience. Thanks to the team for being so welcoming and helpful with guidance throughout. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily return. Highly recommended for nature lovers!

The Wi-Fi wasn’t available, and the mobile network was weak. Hopefully the owner sorts out the Wi-Fi soon. There weren’t any indoor or outdoor games either, so there isn’t much to do if you’re looking to spend time with family. The remote location was peaceful and made for a relaxing holiday. I liked the food, which tasted authentic to me as a native of Udaipur, though I don’t know why some people call it tasteless. There’s a small pond with ducks and fish, a real gem. The rooms were great, with comfortable mattresses, and the swing in our cottage was a hit with the kids. We visited Kumbhalgarh last week. The property currently has stone cottages and mud rooms. We stayed in the family stone cottage, which fits about four adults and two children, assuming the kids are up to 8-9 years old. The location is a bit remote, but our stay went smoothly and was nice.
