Staymaker Coorg Anekad Resort

The resort cancelled my booking without telling me, then gave the reservation to someone else. I’d travelled all the way from Bangalore with my family and only found out when we reached. They made us wait outside, and the executive offered a refund but no alternative place to stay. We had to leave. It was a terrible experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this stay. I also had to remind them several times before getting my refund.

I booked and paid well in advance, then got confirmation on watsapp the day before because we had a long journey. Still, when we arrived on the check-in date, they refused to give us the room we’d booked. They kept us waiting for hours, then told us to try a nearby lodge because we wouldn’t find anywhere at the last minute. We ended up having to book a place on the road, and the whole experience made us suffer. There seem to be multiple people taking reservations who aren’t coordinating. I’d never book here, especially with family.

The setting and location are lovely, and the rooms were nice too. Service was the one concern. If they improve that, it could be a great place to stay.

A good spot for a get-together, with a pool and a dining area. The service was good. It costs about 700 per adult and 350 per child.
