Hotel Lumbini

We spent four days here in June 2025. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff were polite and cordial. Mr Abhishek was especially helpful and took care of our permits online. We ordered food to our preference, and it was prepared that way. A very nice experience.

Hotel Lumibini is close to Leh's main market, among lovely buildings and green trees, and it makes a striking first impression. The staff were courteous and understood the importance of hospitality. The owner, Abhishek Simon, was polite, friendly, and helpful, with a humble manner that went beyond business. He's also an avid explorer who knows the whole Ladakh area well. Wishing the friendly, soft-spoken Abhishek Simon a great business season.

I’ve stayed here three times while exploring Ladakh, and it’s been great value each visit. The rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable, and the food is good. There’s a leafy outdoor area with apple trees and a little terrace overlooking a nice view. The team is amazingly helpful, and the free private parking comes in handy if you’ve rented a bike.

I’m really fond of this hotel. The owner and the rest of the staff are very cooperative. We ran into an issue with our booking through the MakeMyTrip app, but the owner sorted it out really well. I’d suggest booking Lumbini Hotel and enjoying your trip to Leh. 👍👍🙏
