Hotel Three Roses

There are many nearby places for 1000-1600 rs with much better facilities, so this was a horrible stay for the price. We were charged 1800 per day with breakfast, but got no breakfast. The rooms were dirty and stained, and there were no towels, drinking water, or service. There was never anyone at reception, and the reception guys were smoking joints while attending customers. The stay and service were both horrible.

The complimentary food was average, though the ala carte was good. The hotel itself is average, but the staff are polite, and the rooms are clean. The reception guy gave advice on how to balance your health in Leh. There are solar heaters on the roof, so you can get hot water.

We stayed from 21st July 2018 to 27th July 2018. The service was very bad, with no proper room service and not even towels provided. The food was below par. Egg curry was the only non veg option, served just once a week, and the rest of the days it was only veg food. The Hotel Manager, Mr.Akash, was very arrogant. We would not recommend this hotel. There are other good hotels in Leh. Snow Lion is directly opposite, and its service was much, much better, with good service and equally quality food. They gave us complementary breakfast on our last day. Hotel Royal Ladakh is also a very good option. Every traveller in Leh should ask about the menu before visiting a hotel.

The homemade food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. Our room was clean and cozy, with a pretty view from the window. It's about 5 mins by car or 15 mins on foot from main Leh Market, and 20 mins from the airport. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a good, decent stay without exorbitant prices.
