Shimla Inn Lucknow by Goroomgo

We booked for 15 days, and every day the staff asked whether it was our last day, as though they wanted us gone. They were rude, delayed breakfast, and ignored our complaints. The switch in our room didn’t work, and it took two days of repeated complaints before they replaced it. We’d booked a deluxe room but were first given a tiny room with an unhygienic bathroom. We were eventually moved to a proper room, but the service was still poor.

I arrived late at night and had to find another hotel. Although I’d booked an AC room with a good discount, the staff said it was non-AC after asking how much I’d paid. They also said the room they’d give me wouldn’t have a private bathroom. The room looked shady and dirty, and the washroom would have been shared.

The service was bad and not worth it. My food order still hadn’t arrived after 45 minutes, so I cancelled it and left the hotel. They don’t bring food on time. They also didn’t provide water, towels, or hand soap. The room was tiny, and none of the charging sockets worked, so bring a power bank.

The area is very busy and overcrowded, and there’s no parking. My room was tiny, the bathroom smelled, the old TV didn’t work, and most of the lights were broken. I booked with goibo for a noon check-in but had to wait three hours to get the room.
