Courtyard by Marriott Madurai

I’ve stayed at this lovely property many times. It’s peaceful, close to most tourist attractions, and the staff are polite and friendly. The rooms and wardrobes are spacious, and I really like the grand dining area with its beautiful lighting. There’s a little park and a pool beside it, a lovely spot to relax and unwind. The pastry selection is grand and exquisite too. Thanks for the beautiful stays.

Karthiga, Yokesh, and Ameer were warm and professional, and the hotel service was efficient. The food has a good range, and I liked the modern touch controls in the rooms, which make things convenient. Cleanliness was generally maintained, though hygiene could be better. M Lounge has a pleasant coffee setting, but the service there felt less attentive than elsewhere. A good stay overall, with some room for improvement.

After our second night we had an early flight, so the staff packed up a few things we picked from the breakfast buffet. The front desk workers were very kind and glad to help, especially two women, one taller and one shorter. We enjoyed staying here. The buffet was amazing, with the best sambar I’ve ever had and great French toast too.

The hotel is conveniently close to the Meenakshi Amman Temple, and the atmosphere was lovely. I stayed one night, and both the spacious room and bathroom were very clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. Special mention to Karthika and Ameer, if I’ve got their names right. Highly recommend.
