Hotel Shreenithi

I had a very unpleasant stay at this hotel in Madurai. The room was poorly maintained, with visible damage to the walls, almost no ventilation, and a non-working television. The air-conditioning was completely ineffective, so the room was extremely uncomfortable. The staff didn’t make a sincere effort to fix these issues, even after I raised them repeatedly. Their lack of response and accountability made the experience more frustrating. The room also had a serious mosquito problem, and they didn’t provide repellent when I asked. I couldn’t sleep through the night. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for even basic comfort and proper service.

Parking is very limited, with room for about five cars underground and five two-wheelers out front. The property sits right on the main road and is being renovated. There’s a non-vegetarian restaurant downstairs, open from 11 am to 11 pm, but no breakfast, room service, or even an electric kettle in the rooms. The room was very average, though the bathroom was neat, and towels and a toiletries kit were provided. We asked to move because our assigned room had cracked walls and smelled mouldy. Mosquitoes were everywhere, in the hallways and even in the air-conditioned rooms. The price feels much too high for what you get. It might do for one night alone, but I wouldn’t choose it for a family with children. There are better options nearby.

Mr. Ravi Sethu was especially helpful throughout our stay, always welcoming and pleasant. At Hotel Shreenithi, the rooms were clean and looked after, and the whole place felt comfortable. I had a wonderful time there and would highly recommend it.

After a long day, it was easy to unwind in the clean, comfortable room. It was well maintained too, and I was really happy with my stay at this hotel.
