Sai Regency

There were mosquitoes all over the place, and at night I even saw cockroaches crawling on the bed. The room also had a constant strange, unpleasant smell, and the old plumbing was unreliable. Sometimes there was no water in the room at all. When we raised these problems, the staff were unhelpful and showed no concern. The hotel is badly maintained and the experience was horrible. I’d advise people to avoid it, it isn’t worth the time or money.

I booked Hotel Sai Yash a month ahead for dt 14& 15th jan 26 and called to remind them before arriving. When I got there, they said there were no rooms and moved us to their second branch, Sai regency main market. The room, blanket, and washroom were all dirty. There was no light at night, no hot water, no hand wash, no towels, nothing. I called the owner at least 7-8 times about the problems and they never picked up. It was the worst experience. Please don’t book here. The room photos they posted in google are fake.

I stayed for a 3 day trip, and the TV didn’t work and there was a problem with warm shower water. Staff weren’t cooperative and kept ignoring our complaints, even after we raised them like ten times. They didn’t offer another room. On the second day, they took the remote and set-up box from our TV and gave them to another room instead of fixing the issue.

The only thing I can say in this property’s favor is its main market location. This isn’t really a hotel, more like a low grade Lodge / Dharamshala. I can’t think of anything else good about it, and it shouldn’t cost more than 500/- per night, even in peak season.
