The room was excellent, especially for the dirt cheap rate I got through goibibo. I was travelling alone and felt safe throughout. The owner looked after me himself in the morning, and when I asked, he let me extend my stay. You can get food if you request it. I had a pleasant time there. The heater costs extra.

We’ve travelled all over India, especially to hill stations, and this location really stood out. We honestly think it’s even better than Switzerland. Rishaan Cottage is a wonderful place to unwind, with beautiful scenery and very welcoming staff. Definitely worth visiting.

It’s an affordable place to stay, but getting into Manali takes a while. A taxi will cost you around 200-300/-, so for a trip around Manali, try renting one for the day or even two.

The people here were so friendly and made us feel at ease. They also gave us useful tips and guidance, and the service was really good. A great place to stay in Manali, highly recommended.

The rooms are okay, though the later room they gave us was good. They serve home-cooked food, but at ₹150 a plate it’s damn expensive. The stay was just good overall.
