The concierge gave us useful suggestions for places to visit in the city, which made our trip more enjoyable. We were at Suman Residency Mangalore with my wife and son from 9th February to 11 February 2026. Although we arrived before check-in time, the welcoming, professional staff arranged our room and breakfast, a thoughtful gesture. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, a relaxing place to come back to after exploring. The location was convenient for visiting Mangalore’s main attraction. We highly recommend Suman Residency Mangalore for friendly service, comfort, and location, and we’ll stay there again next time we visit Mangalore.

We waited over 40 minutes for our starters, and when they finally came, the food was cold and had hardly any flavor. Staff didn’t seem interested in helping, and nothing was done after we raised the problem. For what they charge, both the service and food quality were far below expectations. A very disappointing restaurant experience. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.

The hotel is a little removed from the market areas but still close to them. Hampankatta market is about a 10 minute drive away.

We spent 10 days here on a business trip, and the overall experience was very good. The location is premium, with lots of restaurants nearby, and they provide complimentary breakfast. Room service was good, and the staff were polite and genuine. It felt safe for women. The hotel manager was very helpful and talkative. Highly recommended.
