Hotel Radhika Palace

It used to be a marriage home and was converted into two business ventures, though I can only speak about the hotel. It’s on Sonkh Road, one of the city’s main roads, and is within 1 KM of both the main market and the highway, so getting there is easy. The market is about a 10-minute walk, and Haldirams has recently opened an outlet nearby. There are also many restaurants within 10 minutes, with both veg and non veg food. Overall, it’s worth it.

The bathroom doors wouldn’t lock, which compromised privacy and raised security concerns. A foul smell lingered in the rooms throughout my entire stay, making it hard to relax or feel comfortable. My experience was far from satisfactory, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant place to stay.

I stayed with my family, including a 5 month old baby, and it was a nightmare getting through the night. They wouldn’t even switch on the ac, and the lift was always unserviceable. The receptionist wasn’t cooperative either. The ac compressor is fitted in the washroom, so you can imagine the heat and noise in the wc. Not worth a penny, save yourself the trouble and stay elsewhere.

The staff seemed indifferent to what guests needed and didn’t respond to complaints about the room. Basic items like toiletries and towels weren’t provided, and cleanliness was concerning, with dust in the corners and grimy bathroom tiles. The room itself was in pathetic condition, with worn furniture covered in stains and scratches, threadbare linens and a mattress that had seen better days. The lobby decor was outdated and the atmosphere felt stale from the moment I walked in. I travel often for both business and leisure and have stayed in everything from budget places to luxury hotels, but my recent stay at Hotel Radhika Palace was deeply disappointing. For what I paid, I expected at least basic amenities and a comfortable room. Instead, this was a rundown establishment falling below fundamental hospitality standards. I’d strongly advise against booking at Hotel Radhika Palace until major improvements are made.
